Massive apologies!!!!

Well, it’s been nearly two months since I last graced Remote:Service with a post.

What with finishing university, and graduating with First Class Honours might I add, I’ve been very busy trying to find employment in the wonderful world of journalism, on top of having two holidays in the past month and having to recover from the infamous Staffordshire University Annual Journalism Party.

This search has so far proved very unsuccessful so for the time being all my efforts will be focused on bringing Remote:Service back up to scratch.

An apology

There’s been a lot of news this week and I’ve been a bit rubbish in reporting it.

I’m sorry for that, but you’ll see I have been working on a few new bits for the site.

Welcome to Remote:Service!

Your average World Rally Championship blogs and websites are packed full of event reports, stats and pure data, but Remote:Service is different.

As a HUGE rally fan myself I want to focus on the people who make our sport what it is by providing an alternative and light-hearted analysis of aspects of the sport that general news glosses over.

I just want to talk about the WRC and pick up on all the trivia and crazy, quirky little things that make it very different from other, more roundy roundy types of motorsport.

Of course reports, results and standings are a big part of the sport so each week I intend to provide you with a weekly round up of all the important things I haven’t picked up on.
